Network Engineer
Network Engineer – Infoblox DDI
Location: London, UK (Hybrid/On-site)
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP & IP Address Management) to join a growing enterprise infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of Infoblox DDI solutions while ensuring the availability, performance, and security of critical network services. This is an excellent opportunity for a networking professional with strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Infoblox DDI solutions
- Administer and maintain enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) services
- Perform lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, and maintenance of the Infoblox Grid infrastructure
- Configure and manage DNS zones, DHCP scopes, IP address allocation, and related network services
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and networking issues
- Monitor network infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance
- Support vulnerability remediation
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities
- Produce technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and network diagrams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Participate in an on-call support rota when required

Required Skills & Experience
- 6–8+ years of experience in Network Engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Infoblox DDI
- Experience managing enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments
- Proven knowledge of Infoblox Grid administration, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, FTP, SNMP, and related networking protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, cURL, Postman, or similar
- Understanding of vulnerability management and network security best practices
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills
- Experience with F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM), Citrix NetScaler, and cloud networking technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments requiring high availability
