Network Engineer – Contract – London Market Insurer

A leading Lloyd's of London insurer is seeking a Network Engineer to join its DevSecOps Platforms team on an initial 6-month contract.

Day rate: [TBC]
IR35 status: Inside IR35
Location: Remote, with occasional travel to UK offices in London/South-East
Start date: ASAP

The role:

You'll provide L3 troubleshooting and BAU network support, allowing the core network team to focus on a live cloud migration programme. You'll report to a Principal DevSecOps Network Engineer, with escalation to the DevSecOps Platform Team Lead.

What you'll need:

  • Strong LAN/WAN experience
  • Palo Alto firewall experience (PAN-OS/Panorama) — essential
  • Comfortable working in a regulated financial services/insurance environment
  • Able to work independently on BAU while a separate team runs the migration programme
