Job Description

Join our Shared Platform services team as a Network Engineer, where you will be instrumental in the planning, designing, and implementation of new networking solutions all whilst providing critical support for existing infrastructure. These solutions have multiple products deemed as critical national infrastructure and operate on an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform.

This role is primarily remote, with travel to UK locations. This may extend to international locations also.

About The Products You Will Support

  • Guardian: A call taking & dispatching platform used by emergency service operators across the UK & Europe. We help 999 or 101 operators answer calls from the public and dispatch out nearby responders, enabling the right response when every second counts, and ultimately helping our customers save lives.
  • Pronto: A digital notebook service providing front line police officers with access to national systems to obtain information quickly and efficiently when working within their communities. Pronto also allows for digital evidence collection which can be used as evidence in juridical processes, location services for fast dispatching of officers, and a range of many other tools to aid in an officer's day-to-day activities.

Our Team Structure

Our team is structured into distinct streams: networking, virtualization, and Infrastructure. These teams collaborate closely to manage all facets of the infrastructure. Our primary goal is to provide optimal service for the hosted products and, ultimately, for our customers who are dedicated to protecting our communities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
