Role Description
- We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex network environments, ensuring secure and seamless connectivity across client infrastructures.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work alongside IT teams in delivering robust, scalable, and secure networking solutions.

- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Monitor network performance and proactively recommend improvements.
- Ensure network security through firewall configurations, VLANs, and access controls.
Network Design & Implementation
- Design and deploy network solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Implement network upgrades, expansions, and hardware replacements.
- Support high-availability and disaster recovery strategies.
On-Site Troubleshooting & Resolution
- Conduct physical inspections: verify device power, cabling, airflow, and rack stability.
- Perform connectivity testing: Ethernet/fiber validation, SFP reseating, switch port analysis.
- Execute hardware replacements: swap failed devices, document asset changes.
- Collaborate with remote support teams via secure sessions and live troubleshooting.
- Conduct post-resolution validation: ping tests, trace routes, throughput checks, firewall/VLAN verification.
Documentation & Reporting
- Update ITSM tickets with actions taken, replaced components, and client sign-off.
- Record spare parts usage in ITSM asset inventory.
- Update network diagrams and CMDB after changes.
- Escalate unresolved issues with clear diagnostics and temporary workarounds.

Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in Network Administration and Network Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of network design, implementation, and security best practices.
- Hands-on expertise in configuring and operating routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network issues under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and client-facing abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, or higher-level Cisco certifications are a plus.

Salary: 100 - 180 EUR Per day
