Role: Network Engineer
Location: Bristol (hybrid)
Salary: up to £53,000
We are supporting a Bristol based defence firm who are looking to onboard a Network Engineer.

You will be supporting secure, high-impact defence projects. You’ll work across both physical and software-defined networks, helping design, build and maintain resilient infrastructure in highly secure environments.

The Role:
- Designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network solutions
- Working across routers, switches, servers and software-defined networks
- Monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues and ensuring high availability
- Managing VPNs, remote access and wireless networks
The Candidate:
- Must be DV Clearable
- Strong experience in networking roles
- Strong hands-on experience with both physical infrastructure (routers, switches, servers) and software-defined networking
- Experience working within enterprise-scale network environments
- Solid understanding of Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking concepts
- Knowledge of high availability and resilience protocols
- Experience with next-generation firewalls
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills using tools such as Wireshark
- Experience with VPNs and remote access solutions
