Job Title: IT Solution Engineer/Architect – Network Security Products Location: Newport, UK (with travel within the UK and occasional international)
Security Clearance: Eligibility to obtain a UK SC Security Clearance

Are you passionate about digital technologies and eager to work in a diverse, international environment? We’re looking for an IT Solution Engineer/Architect to drive this transformation.
Key Contributions
As a Network Engineer/Architect, you will play a pivotal role in:
- Technology development, integration, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management for network security products.
- Maintaining and managing changes across the product lifecycle to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Analysing console messages, diagnosing system failures, and implementing corrective measures to ensure operational continuity. Escalate issues to relevant teams or vendors as necessary.
- Supervising backup processing and leading disaster recovery tests.
- Identifying and implementing technologies that improve reliability, efficiency, and availability of IT systems.
- Ensuring continuity and reliability by adhering to ITIL support processes, diagnosing failures, and executing backup/restoration protocols.
- Managing full product lifecycles—including budget planning, forecasting, and economic considerations.

About You
Required Experience:
- Background in IT/Telecommunications with hands-on experience in:
- Data Centre Network Technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, routing protocols, QoS, router communities, VRFs, IP management).
- Cisco devices and integration with network and security management platforms (such as ACI, firewalls).
- Network encryption (e.g., HTTPS, IPsec protocols, secure tunnelling) and crypto boxes (e.g., Compumatica, Genua, Cisco manufacturers).
- Proven experience aligning around global ITIL and IT security best practices.
