Position Summary
As a Network Engineer within the MAME Area (Platform Group IT Engineering), this role is critical for ensuring our enterprise-wide on-premises, cloud, and hybrid network infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls) across classified and unclassified environments
- Partner with multiple teams (Senior Network Engineers, Cybersecurity, Cloud Operations, SOC) to deliver mission-ready connectivity
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and respond to incidents to maintain 4.999 uptime (99.99%)
- Monitor and manage security posture using SIEM, SNMP, and Wireshark
- Collaborate on change management, firmware upgrades, and network automation
- Document SOPs, runbooks, topology diagrams, and incident reports

What You’ll Do
Technical Responsibilities
- Configure and optimise hybrid networks (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto) across LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN/VPN
- Enforce network security via firewalls, IPS/IDS, NAC, and compliancedriven segmentation (NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials)
- Support cloud-native elements (AWS VNETs, PrivateLink, Azure VNETs, ExpressRoute)
- Deploy and manage next-gen wireless systems (802.11ax, Secur الطرف الإسرائيلي WPA3, 802.1X authentication)
- Conduct Tier 2 Tier 3 troubleshooting and lead incident response
- Automate routine tasks using Python, Ansible, or PowerShell
- Write and maintain network documentation, SOP runbooks, and incident reports
Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with SysAdmin, DevOps, SOC, and Security teams
- Liaise with vendors to resolve hardware/software issues
What You Bring
Essential
- 5–8 years of network engineering/admin experience in multi-site enterprise networks (500+ endpoints)
- Expertise in Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus) or Aruba enterprise platforms
- Hands-on knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP, OSI), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and switching (VLANs, VxLAN, STP)
- Strong grasp of firewall solutions (Palo Alto or equivalent), ACLs, VPNs (IPSec, SSL/TLS), DNS, DHCP, IPAM
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Wireshark, SolarWinds)
- Experience with Aruba- or Cisco-based wireless architectures

Preferred
- Cisco Network Professional, CNP, or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of defense cyber security frameworks (NIST-800-171, CMMC, ITAR)
- Experience with SDN/SD-WAN or Zero Trust (ZTNA) principles
- Familiarity with Azure ExpressRoute or AWS Direct Connect

About Work
- Location: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days at London, UK branch
- Travel: ~25% business travel expected
- Security: Security clearance required – Discussed in interview
- Work Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 9:00AM–6:00PM – Exempt roles occasionally on-call.
- Remuneration: Competitive and commensurate with experience
