Network Engineer (Remote | EU/India | UK Financial Services)
Yadimen is looking to hire a Network Engineer for a UK financial services client (building-society sector).
Location / model: Remote-first — Nearshore EU (Poland preferred) or Offshore India
Engagement: Contract (B2B / inside umbrella) or FTE
Rate (nearshore EU): €225 / day
About the role
You'll join the network infrastructure and operations team of a large, regulated UK financial services organisation. You'll provide day-to-day support of incidents and change requests, and own the installation, configuration and support of production, non-production and disaster-recovery network infrastructure. You'll work across the full lifecycle — design, documentation, build, live transition and support — and apply modern engineering practice: Software-Defined Networking (SDN), automation and orchestration, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and advanced observability, to deliver resilient, secure and scalable services.

Requirements
Essential skills (all required, hands-on)
- Cisco Routing & Switching to CCNP/CCIE standard — OSPF, BGP, Spanning-Tree
- Cisco ACI — data-centre fabric
- Cisco Secure Access / Secure Connect (SASE) and hybrid ZTNA
- Cisco Meraki — SD-WAN, switching, wireless
- Check Point firewalls — CCSA / CCSE
- F5 — both LTM and GTM (BIG-IP)
Also expected
- Designing, implementing and supporting LAN/WAN and IP networks
- DNS and DHCP (Windows / Unix / internet-facing)
- Security around internet-facing services; understanding of vulnerability assessment / penetration testing
- Scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code

Environment
Regulated financial-services network estate (Cisco core, Check Point + Cisco firewalls, Meraki, F5, Cisco ACI, cloud-integrated). Emphasis on secure, internet-facing, highly available services.
Experience
8–15 years in enterprise/regulated network engineering. CCIE (Enterprise or Security) strongly preferred given the breadth of the stack.
