This London-based role is critical to our mission: your job is to deliver work packages on active projects with technical proficiency. Due to security requirements:

  • worked on-site Mon-Fri (37.5hrs/week);
  • hold a DV (Developer Vetting) Security Clearance (x£5k/yr allowable during clearance process);
  • you must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to qualify.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Support o monthly operations and ensure all network infrastructure components are designed, built, tested, validated, maintained, and supported.

  • Design and implement new and enhanced network technologies aligned with customers’ enterprise and remote site connectivity strategy.
  • Define and uphold global standards for wireless, LAN, SD-WAN networks, and connectivity.
  • Install, test, and configure hardware and software solutions, including firewalls, routers, switches, monitoring tools, and virtual systems.
  • Oversee engineering efforts to ensure networking technologies remain up-to-date, secure, and supported.

Essential Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

Experience with (must have knowledge for most roles):

  • Enterprise/operator routing protocols: OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LDP, or RSVP.
  • LAN switching at data centers/enterprises (preferably with experience in: RSTP/MSTP, LAG, MC-LAG, SPB), including redundancy and security protocols.
  • Network security protocols: MACSEC, IPSEC, 802.1x.
  • Firewall/IDS/IPS configuration, deployment, and management for network security.
