We are currently recruiting for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join one of the world's most recognised sporting organisations. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a complex, multi-site network infrastructure, helping to deliver resilient, secure and high-performing connectivity across stadium, office and remote locations.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and improving a multi-site enterprise network infrastructure
- Leading the resolution of high-impact incidents, including connectivity, Wi-Fi and network performance issues
- Driving improvements in network resilience, failover and overall service availability
- Supporting the migration from traditional networking to SD-WAN architecture
- Delivering end-to-end network solutions across LAN, WAN, wireless and firewall technologies
- Working alongside infrastructure, security and application teams to improve service quality
- Identifying recurring issues through root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions
- Supporting the ongoing evolution towards a modern, secure network architecture

What they're looking for
- Experience supporting complex, multi-site enterprise network environments
- Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies (Cisco or equivalent)
- Experience working with enterprise firewalls such as Fortinet or Palo Alto
- Knowledge of enterprise wireless networking and Wi-Fi optimisation
- Experience supporting or delivering SD-WAN environments and migrations
- Understanding of modern networking concepts, including network segmentation, Zero Trust and SASE
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to lead major network incidents
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical teams
