You'll be joining a close-knit Infrastructure team where engineers are trusted to take ownership, solve problems and genuinely influence how the environment evolves. While networking is a key part of the role, you'll also get involved with wider infrastructure projects, new site deployments, troubleshooting, vendor management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

One day you could be resolving a complex Cisco networking issue, the next helping deliver infrastructure into a new facility or working with suppliers to resolve connectivity issues.

If you enjoy variety, taking ownership and seeing the impact of your work, you'll love this role.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Supporting and maintaining Cisco and Meraki network infrastructure.
  • Managing switches, routers, firewalls and wireless networks.
  • Providing 3rd line technical support and troubleshooting complex networking issues.
  • Supporting Microsoft infrastructure and Azure networking where required.
  • Assisting with new site deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Working closely with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Supporting network security initiatives, VPNs and modern security technologies.
  • Monitoring network performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Producing technical documentation and supporting infrastructure projects.
  • Participating in an on-call rota when required.

The Profile Of Person Required:

We're looking for someone who enjoys networking but is equally happy getting involved across the wider IT infrastructure.

You might currently work within an MSP, an internal Infrastructure team or another hands-on networking environment where you've gained experience supporting business-critical systems and taking ownership of technical issues.

You'll ideally have experience with:

  • Cisco networking (switching, routing and firewalls).
  • Cisco Meraki.
  • Network troubleshooting and fault finding.
  • Firewalls, VPNs and wireless networking.
  • Supporting IT infrastructure within a business environment.
  • Working with third-party suppliers and vendors.
  • Infrastructure projects, upgrades or office/site deployments.

Exposure to Microsoft Azure networking, Zero Trust or network monitoring tools would be beneficial, but these aren't essential.

More important than ticking every technical box is your attitude. We're looking for someone who's proactive, enjoys solving problems, works well independently and takes ownership through to resolution.

If you're the type of engineer who enjoys getting hands-on, working as part of a collaborative team and making a real difference rather than simply escalating tickets, we'd love to hear from you.
