Location: London (with regular travel to DSP sites and warehouses across the South of England)

About the Role

J&T Express UK is looking for a Network Management Specialist to support the development and management of our Delivery Service Provider (DSP) network across the South of England.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in UK parcel delivery, logistics, or last-mile operations who enjoys building partnerships, optimising transport networks, and driving operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

DSP Development & Relationship Management

  • Identify, evaluate and onboard new Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) across London and the South of England.
  • Build and maintain a strong DSP partner network.
  • Assess potential partners based on operational capability, fleet capacity, service quality and commercial competitiveness.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned DSP partners and manage ongoing business relationships.

Operational Performance Management

  • Monitor key operational KPIs, including:
    • On-Time Delivery
    • First Attempt Delivery Success Rate
    • Damage and Loss Rate
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of DSP partners.
  • Develop improvement plans and recommend corrective actions where required.

Commercial & Cost Management

  • Support commercial negotiations with DSP partners, including pricing and service agreements.
  • Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Review invoices and resolve billing discrepancies where necessary.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Warehouse Operations, Customer Service and IT teams.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of operational systems, including parcel tracking, scanning and Proof of Delivery (POD).
  • Assist with new site launches and peak season network expansion.

Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline is preferred).
  • Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Experience

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are highly desirable:

  • UK parcel delivery or logistics companies (e.g. Evri, DPD, Yodel, Royal Mail or similar).
  • Delivery Service Provider (DSP) management.
  • Transport network planning, linehaul or last-mile delivery operations.
  • Managing multiple logistics partners or transport suppliers.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of the UK parcel delivery network (Hub, Depot and Last Mile operations).
  • Experience with Amazon DSP operations or similar delivery partner models.
  • Familiarity with route planning or transport optimisation.
  • Existing relationships with local fleets or transport providers would be advantageous.
