Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer – 24/7 Shifts (Belfast)

About the Role

Located: Onsite in Newtownabbey, County Antrim Salary: £30,000 – £32,854 (+ 30% Shift Allowance/Annual)

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT/Network Engineer to join our dynamic 24/7 Operations Centre team in Belfast. You will be part of a shift-based team, supporting critical infrastructure, resolving IT/network incidents with precision, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across a broad client base.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key NOC escalation point for IT/network incidents
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network and IT issues, adhering to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Support on-site engineers, liaise with third-party suppliers, and maintain transparent incident communication
  • Operate in a 24/7 shift-based environment, ensuring seamless coverage for clients
  • Identify systemic issues and recommend improvements in operating processes

Requirements & Essential Criteria

  • Experience working in shift-based operational environments (mandatory)
  • Proven ability to resolve technical incidents under pressure
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with IT/networking infrastructure
  • Excellent communication (internal and external stakeholder management)
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to rotating shifts
  • Customer-focused mindset with an emphasis on service quality
