Enterprise Security Architect – RAN / 4G & 5G (SC Cleared)

£700 per day | Inside IR35 | Hybrid – London or Bristol (2 days onsite)

We're looking for an experienced Enterprise Security Architect with a strong background in RAN Security, 4G/5G Mobile Networks, and telecommunications architecture to support a high-profile programme within a secure, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead security architecture across 4G/5G, RAN, Open RAN, and Mobile Core environments.
  • Design secure architectures for telecom networks, virtualised infrastructure, and AWS/hybrid cloud.
  • Conduct threat modelling, security design reviews, and technical assurance.
  • Develop security standards, reference architectures, and Security by Design principles.
  • Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to deliver secure network transformation.

Essential Experience

  • Proven Enterprise or Security Architecture experience within telecommunications.
  • Strong knowledge of RAN, 4G/5G, Mobile Core, Open RAN, SDN/NFV, and telecom network security.
  • Experience applying frameworks such as TOGAF and SABSA.
  • Knowledge of AWS security, Zero Trust, IAM, and telecom security standards (3GPP, GSMA, NCSC, ISO 27001).
  • Experience working within highly regulated or Critical National Infrastructure environments.

  • Active SC Clearance (valid to at least 2028).
  • Hybrid working (2 days per week in London or Bristol).
