Network and Security Architect
Stevenage, hybrid 2–3 days on site
Circa £65,000 plus bonus and strong benefits
British Citizen able to achieve high levels of Security Clearance
This is a high-trust architecture role supporting secure, complex programmes across the UK and wider group. The work spans early design through delivery, with real influence on network direction, security posture and architectural standards.
The employer is a major defence organisation operating across highly classified environments and international teams. The remit is broad, business-critical and suited to someone who can balance technical rigour with diplomacy.

- Design and develop network architectures with a strong bias toward security.
- Shape architecture decisions across projects from concept through to delivery.
- Lead and chair technical and design discussions with internal stakeholders.
- Work with information security, network operations, SOC, application and business teams.
- Contribute to secure connectivity, accreditation and cloud-direction work.
- Support harmonisation of network architecture across multiple country networks.
Requirements
- Strong background in network architecture and network security systems.
- Experience in secure, classified or defence environments preferred.
- Comfortable coordinating technical forums and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Able to work across international, multi-cultural teams.
- Practical, collaborative and capable of finding workable solutions in complex settings.
