About This Role
BT Business is expanding its Cyber Security capabilities, and we’re seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist to provide specialist technical support across our UK secure contracts.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Agile / ITIL processes in network security, setting industry standards.
- Ensure end-to-end cyber security solutions through selective intervention from a 3rd-line lead perspective.
- Mentor and develop peers, offering constructive feedback and supporting career growth.
- Adapt to rapidly evolving threats, analysing risks, testing solutions, and deploying lean iterations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product designs—including journey maps, service blueprints, and documentation.

What We Look For
Required Skills & Certifications

Professional certifications in security domains, including (but not limited to):
- Fortinet NSE 7
- Cisco CCNP (Cisco FirePower, ASA, CX)
- Checkpoint CCSE
- Palo Alto PCNSE

Technologies: Hands-on experience is expected, including:
- Firewalls: Fortigate, Cisco ASA/FirePower, Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint NetScaler
- Networking: Cisco ISE, F5
- Security in Cloud: Native Cloud Security models
- Network Prototypes: Strength in Python, Go, Bash programming or scripting.
- OS Platforms: Linux / Unix, Windows environments

Process & Methodology Skilled:
- Rapid prototyping & testing of solutions
- Designing secure architecture and user flows
- Iterative, lean methodologies for change
