Network Stocks Planning Team Leader

Location: Mansfield, NG18 – Hybrid

Contract: Permanent – Full Time

About the Role:

We are recruiting for a Network Stocks Planning Team Leader to lead a small team through projects and manage day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Stock Planners, driving performance and engagement
  • Oversee ATP blocking codes, aligning with supply alignment while addressing risks and communicating disruptions
  • Support operational transformation by introducing new methods and closing knowledge gaps or delays
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to manage and approve age-on-sale policy deviations
  • Act as the escalation contact for supply disruptions (internal/third-party), resolving issues and addressing supplier performance concerns
  • Monitor team service levels, implementing improvement plans to meet business expectations consistently
  • Cultivate a positive, proactive "can do" culture within the team
  • Reduce inventory shrinkage by effectively managing overage reporting and provisioning
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders in logistics, procurement, and customer service
  • Travel between sites as required to support effective engagement

Experience & Key Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or FMCG sector
  • First-line management experience required
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC essential, with advanced APO knowledge desired
  • Ability to work under competitive deadlines
  • Self-directed with strong adaptability under shifting priorities
  • Skilled communicator able to build collaborative relationships across functions
  • Highly detail-oriented
