Role Description
The Network Support Technician is responsible for maintaining and supporting network infrastructure for clients in the Greater Bristol Area, United Kingdom. This on-site role involves monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues, and providing technical support to end users. The technician will perform routine network troubleshooting, assist with network configuration changes, and escalate complex incidents when needed.
Daily tasks include:
- Documenting issues and resolutions
- Applying basic network security practices
- Coordinating with other IT professionals to ensure stable and secure operations

This is a full-time role that requires consistent presence at client or company locations in the Greater Bristol Area.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Network Administration and configuration for small to medium-sized environments.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Experience with Network Troubleshooting tools and methodologies for diagnosing performance and reliability problems.
- Knowledge of Network Security principles, including basic firewall, VPN, and access control practices.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are highly beneficial.
- Ability to document technical work clearly and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in managed services, outsourcing, or multi-client environments is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in the Greater Bristol Area and support occasional after-hours or emergency incidents as required.
