Flexzo Teach | Neurodiversity-Specialist EOTAS Tutor (In-Person)

Flexible tutoring opportunities in your area, delivered in-person.

Flexzo Teach connects specialized tutors directly with local families and educational settings for short-term, long-term, and ongoing support. Register to join our local talent pool in Bexley and start getting matched with students who need your unique expertise.

We are currently seeking an experienced, compassionate, and neurodiversity-confident tutor to support an 8-year-old student as part of an established, local-authority-funded EOTAS (Education Otherwise Than At School) package.

The student has an EHCP, diagnoses of autism and ADHD, a Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile, and sensory-processing needs. Having been out of a school setting for an extended period, they require a highly individualized, relationship-led approach. The initial priority is to build trust, reduce anxiety, and create positive, low-pressure experiences of learning within the home or a local agreed setting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you need:

  • Proven experience working with neurodivergent children or young people, with a strong understanding of autism, ADHD, and school-related anxiety.
  • A relationship-led, PDA-informed approach - the ability to avoid unnecessary demands, adapt pace and structure on the fly, and use strengths-based, interest-led strategies.
  • The ability to support KS2 curriculum areas (specifically English and Maths) tailored to the student's regulation levels and specific EHCP outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, carers, and the wider EOTAS team, alongside completing concise progress notes.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain one for in-person sessions) and suitable references.
  • Availability to provide face-to-face, daytime tuition in the Bexley area. (Prior experience with EOTAS provision and sensory-processing differences is highly valuable).
