Neuromodulation Field Clinical Specialist Graduate (FCS)

This 12-month Graduate role will operate from London and the South East area, starting April 2026.
Role Overview
The Neuromodulation Field Clinical Specialist Graduate provides clinical and technical support to hospitals across assigned accounts, focusing on SCS implants. Key responsibilities include intraoperative and postoperative testing, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and seamless therapy delivery.
You’ll collaborate closely with nurses, pain consultants, neurosurgeons, and other specialists, offering technical expertise, clinical education, and troubleshooting support.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Technical Support
- Provide onsite tech support during SCS implant procedures in catheter labs and operating theatres.
- Perform intraoperative and postoperative testing, programming, and patient follow-ups.
- Troubleshoot product and therapy-related issues—both in person and remotely.
- Act as the primary clinical resource for assigned accounts, handling technical and therapy queries.

Education & Training
- Deliver product training and clinical education to healthcare professionals, including those new to SCS therapy.
- Give presentations and hands-on demonstrations using relevant educational tools.
- Support workshops, training events, and new product launches.
- Train clinical centre personnel on product features, therapy optimisation, and best practice.
Commercial & Relationship Support
- Work with Sales Representatives to match customer needs with product solutions for improved patient outcomes.
- Develop strong relationships with physicians, nurses, and hospital stakeholders.
- Proactively address customer feedback and service needs, collaborating internally for solutions.
Clinical Trial Support
- Offer technical and clinical support for research activities in the assigned area.
- Facilitate site authorisations, ensuring compliance with investigational study protocols.
- Train site personnel on trial protocols, investigational products, and processes.

Requirements
Education
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or Neuroscience (graduating 2025/2026).
Skills & Attributes
- Strong patient- and procedure-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working in operating theatre environments, engaging confidently with clinical teams.
- High technical aptitude with strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering training or education (particularly technical products) is advantageous.
Location & Flexibility
- Preferable to be based in the Southeast of the UK with weekday travel flexibility.
- Regular travel requirements apply.
