About Davisons Law

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious New Build Property Conveyancer/Solicitor to join a supportive team and work on a range of matters relating to conveyancing, particularly involving new build properties.
What You’ll Do
When you join the team at Davisons Law as a New Build Property Conveyancer/Solicitor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing your own case load of new build property matters, from start to finish. This includes:
- Sales
- Purchases
- Shared ownership
- Right to buy
- Lease extensions
You will ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.
A relevant qualification (e.g., solicitor, CILEx, or CLC) or significant experience in conveyancing and case management is required.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee your own caseload of new build purchase files and related sales/part-exchanges, tracking each stage from start to completion.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and key contacts, offering clear and supportive legal advice throughout the process.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess strong technical experience in conveyancing procedures, regulatory obligations, and the ability to process cases efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Have proven expertise as a Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer specialising in new build properties, with demonstrable fee-earning experience.
- Ensure full compliance with departmental procedures.
- Process cases in a timely and cost-effective manner while meeting billing targets.
- Exhibit strong organisational skills, proficiency in IT, and experience with web-based case management systems.
- Understand the commercial impact of business targets and generate income in line with agreed goals.
- Handle cases involving freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership properties.
- Experience dealing with client enquiries in person, remotely, and over the phone.
