New Business Account Executive

New Business Account Executive – Old Mill

We're looking for a New Business Account Executive to be the first point of contact for prospective clients and help them discover how Old Mill can support their goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, uncovering opportunities and building meaningful relationships. You’ll play a key role in connecting businesses with the right experts across our firm, helping to create positive experiences from the very first conversation.


What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the welcoming face of Old Mill for many prospective clients, managing enquiries and guiding opportunities through the early stages of the client journey.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Respond to and qualify inbound new business enquiries
  • Build relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and ambitions
  • Identify opportunities to introduce businesses to the right specialists across Old Mill
  • Generate and nurture new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach
  • Maintain an organised pipeline of opportunities and follow-up activity
  • Attend events and networking opportunities, representing Old Mill within the business community

What We’re Looking For

We need someone who has a good knowledge and understanding of accountancy practices and how they apply to businesses. We’d like to find someone who shares our values and enjoys building genuine connections.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in a client-facing, business development, sales, or account management role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence speaking with business owners and decision-makers
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and pipelines
  • A naturally curious approach and a desire to understand how businesses work
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
  • Good commercial awareness and an interest in helping businesses succeed
