New Business Account Manager – Advert (careers page)
Field based – South/London
Salary: £57,000 - £63,000
Duration: 12 to 18-month FTC
Your Responsibilities
- Define the market entry and go-to-market strategy for a new category in Great Britain, with a clear focus on product positioning, dealer growth, and revenue impact.
- Build the business case, pricing logic, and financial model that help Miele make sound investment decisions for this new market opportunity.
- Identify, approach, and onboard dealers and strategic partners who fit the brand, the commercial model, and the premium customer segment.
- Develop sales concepts and distribution models that turn the market strategy into practical commercial execution.
- Drive the market launch from first planning to first revenue, staying close to dealers, partners, and internal teams as the route to market takes shape.
- In close collaboration with sales, marketing, and product management, you align priorities and keep the launch moving despite open questions and changing market signals.
What we are looking for
- You bring several years of experience in business development, sales strategy, or commercial management, ideally in a premium or dealer-based environment.
- A strong track record in building new markets, dealer networks, or distribution models helps you turn strategy into measurable growth.
- Commercial thinking comes naturally to you, especially when building business cases, pricing models, and financial plans.
- In conversations with dealers, partners, and internal stakeholders, you communicate clearly and negotiate with confidence.
- You stay focused when structures are still evolving and know how to create progress without waiting for a finished playbook.
- A degree in business administration or a comparable qualification gives you a solid commercial foundation, but your market-building experience matters most.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
