Role Overview
We are looking for a driven, commercially focused New Business Account Manager who thrives on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and winning new business. You will be confident engaging with decision-makers, uncovering customer challenges, and demonstrating how Eque2's solutions can add value to their business.

This is a role for someone who is highly motivated by success, enjoys the challenge of prospecting and developing new opportunities, and takes ownership of the entire sales journey from initial contact through to contract signature. You will be organised, resilient, and comfortable managing a busy pipeline while consistently delivering against ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth by acquiring new SMB customers across the UK.
- Travel to prospects throughout the UK to deliver presentations and product demo’s.
- Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to contract signature.
- Generate opportunities through outbound prospecting, marketing campaigns, networking, referrals and partner channels.
- Deliver engaging discovery meetings and tailored product demonstrations
- Build relationships with business owners, finance directors, commercial leaders and operational stakeholders.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue target.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline capable of delivering predictable revenue.
- Produce accurate weekly forecasts and provide detailed pipeline updates.
- Work with internal teams such as finance, support, professional services and customer care to answer customer queries quickly.
- Maintain CRM and Gong with accurate customer interactions.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of Eque2's solutions, market positioning and competitors.

Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Business Development, New Business Sales or SaaS Sales.
- Excellent time management and be able to handle multiple queries at once.
- Proven success exceeding new business sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisation, forecasting and pipeline management.
Advantageous
- Experience selling into construction or the built environment.
- Understanding of financial / accounts packages – specifically Sage.
- Cloud/SaaS sales experience.
- MEDDPIC sales framework.
