Castlegate is seeking a New Business Admin

You will be a detail-oriented and proactive New Business Administrator to support the existing administration team with Castlegate’s advice and research process. The individual employed in this role plays a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely submission of new business applications and client documentation across our financial services offerings, together with support for researching existing client policies and general administration tasks in line with Castlegate’s client service standards.

Your responsibilities

Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:

  • Process new business applications and online trades in line with Castlegate’s trading procedure for a range of financial products and transactions
  • Conduct agency takeovers and related policy research to support Castlegate’s advice process
  • Provide general administration support to the existing team to support day-to-day case processing
  • Provide support to Castlegate’s management team in respect of ad-hoc projects
  • Ensure case documentation is complete, compliant, and submitted within required timeframes
  • Liaise with the wider team and third-party providers to resolve queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and update Castlegate’s back-office system with relevant client and policy information.
  • Manage and monitor Castlegate’s New Business Log, including producing ad-hoc reports.
  • Collaborate with Financial Planners, Paraplanners and Financial Services Administrators to support the full client journey.
  • Maintain close working relationships with third party providers and ensure any product and platform training is undertaken where relevant.

We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:

  • Previous experience in a financial services or regulated environment desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint); CRM or back-office systems experience is desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines under pressure.
