About the Role: New Business Assistant (Amplify U – Work Experience)
The New Business Assistant provides critical support to UMG’s Global Business Group (UMGB) in securing and executing large-scale brand partnerships. This role involves performing extensive research, creating impactful presentations, and delivering artist and brand-specific assets and insights to drive lead generation and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research for potential partners and identify appropriate connections as part of lead generation efforts
- Develop new business presentations that highlight artists and creative ideas for active pitches and partnerships
- Compile new business assets for partnership pitches (e.g. promotional materials)
- Manage the CRM database for the new business team
- Provide support for business development-led events and conferences
- Initiate outreach to brands for product distribution and partnership opportunities
- Execute thought-leadership and awareness campaigns
- Represent UMG in professional business situations

Requirements &Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Professional demeanor when working with clients and colleagues
- Experience creating executive-level presentations
- Highly detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks efficiently
- Preference for digital or mobile entertainment marketing experience
- An ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced environments
