New Business Associate
London
6 Months FTC
The New Business Group sits within the Client Experience organisation and owns pre-trade client relationships across the division. The team communicates and coordinates with clients across documentation, account opening and configuration, ensuring optimal client experience. Whilst predominantly aligned by clients, team members are also aligned by sales desks across the division (FX, Equities, Credit, Rates, Commodities etc). The team works closely with sales coverage, legal, credit risk, operations, compliance and clients to ensure clients are ready to trade in the smoothest manner.
Our core value is building strong relationships with our Tier 1 banking clients. Team members develop strong relationships with clients by offering exceptional service and building strong personal connections (client meetings, regular pipeline reviews etc). Team members are expected to understand dynamic changes in commercial demands of the business as well as grow subject matter expertise in commercial, legal, KYC and regulatory requirements.
This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team sitting across EMEA, US and APAC, with individuals who thrive in the fast-paced, changing environment of the trading floor.
Responsibilities
- Owning and driving pre-trade client relationships to ensure readiness to trade across all products (Derivatives, Repo, Cash)
- Active discussions with Sales to understand commercial opportunities & prioritise accordingly
- Drive internal and external negotiations and processes including trading agreements (ISDA, CSA, GMRA etc) and account opening
- Develop in-depth knowledge of all client requirements such as legal terms (ISDA & CSA, GMRA etc), AML, KYC, configuration platforms & product requirements
- Manage tight client timelines for fund launches, market-specific deadlines and trade dates
- Highly organised, able to multi-task, and prioritise projects
- Detail oriented and self-driven
- Strong client service orientation

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Prime brokerage experience is key
- Experience within Client Service & Relationship Management is preferred
- Experience with legal negotiation, KYC and regulations is also a plus
- Foreign language skills to a professional level are also desirable but not essential
- Business Intelligence (BI) skills / strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are also desirable but not essential

This is a fixed term contract position located in London. As the selection and interview process is ongoing, please submit your application in English as soon as possible, if your profile is selected, a member of our team will contact you within 4 weeks. For this role, a valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.
Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office (this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require)or 5 days.
