Arcanum Cyber Security is a UK-based and owned largest independent pure play cyber security consultancy established in 2008, focused on making cyberspace a safe environment for organizations across business, defense, government, manufacturing, CNI, and regulated industries. As an NCSC Assured Cyber Security Consultancy for Risk Management, Audit & Review, and Security Architecture, Arcanum provides trusted, tailored security solutions for clients of all sizes in the UK and internationally. Engagements range from short, focused projects to long-term onsite support, offering flexibility based on client needs. Arcanum is accredited under the CAA ASSURE scheme to deliver audits for space and aerospace organizations, and its penetration testing services are CHECK and CREST accredited, demonstrating high technical standards and professional competence.

Role Description

The New Business Cyber Sales Leader is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving growth across Arcanum’s cyber security services and solutions. This role involves:

  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
  • Building and nurturing relationships with prospects in key sectors
  • Leading the sales cycle from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Collaborating closely with technical and consulting teams to shape compelling value propositions, respond to RFPs, and tailor solutions to client risk and compliance needs

Daily activities include:

  • Managing a sales pipeline
  • Conducting virtual meetings and presentations
  • Developing account strategies
  • Maintaining accurate sales reporting and forecasting

The role also includes:

  • Contributing to market insights
  • Supporting marketing initiatives
  • Representing Arcanum in industry events and webinars as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales and New Business Development skills, including pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and deal closing
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear written communication, persuasive presentations, and confident virtual meeting delivery
  • Solid Customer Service skills, focusing on client relationship building, stakeholder management, and ongoing account support
  • Business skills, such as commercial acumen, understanding of cyber security services, and ability to align solutions with client objectives
  • Experience selling cyber security and professional services in B2B environments is highly desired
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and working with CRM tools is preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in sales and business development
