Major Players are partnering with a leading, social-first creative agency based in London, to hire a New Business & Partnerships leader into their fast-growing team. This is a new and key hire for the agency working alongside the Director of Marketing and CEO. This is not an account management role, you need to be a proactive, commercially minded and sales focused hunter, pitcher and closer. You will leverage your deep, existing network of senior agency and brand contacts to build a high value sales pipeline from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and execute a robust and high velocity new business pipeline, consistently driving revenue growth across major media networks and direct brand relationships.
- Identify and execute wider commercial opportunities to diversify revenue streams, utilising creative media solutions, social-first sponsorships, and strategic IP development.
- Unlock immediate opportunities by leveraging your pre-existing, curated network of senior agency partners, investment leads, and decision-makers.
- Lead high-stakes client pitches and responses to briefs, translating client objectives into multi-platform, culturally relevant creative wins.
- Transform transactional, one-off campaigns into deep, long-term, multi-page strategic partnerships with Tier-1 global brands and household-name consumer giants.
- Partner closely with internal Creative and Editorial teams to ensure commercial concepts are both deliverable and highly profitable, while mentoring junior team members on cross-selling and up-selling.
- Act as the commercial face of the company at key industry events, panel discussions, and senior client networking settings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
