From £40,000, Annual bonus potential, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising with service and a company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates

Royal Mail is looking for ambitious and commercially driven New Business Managers to help grow our market share and win new customers across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on identifying opportunities, building relationships and converting prospects into long-term customers. You'll play a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base and strengthening Royal Mail's position within the eCommerce, parcels and logistics markets.
About The Role
As a New Business Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and securing profitable new business opportunities. You'll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching through to negotiation, onboarding and implementation. Working remotely and managing your own territory, you'll develop a healthy pipeline of opportunities, engage with decision-makers and deliver new revenue streams that support Royal Mail's commercial growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across your territory, driving revenue and volume growth.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of future opportunities.
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to contract agreement and onboarding.
- Promote Royal Mail's products and services, identifying the best solutions for customer needs.
- Deliver revenue, contribution and volume targets while maintaining strong commercial discipline.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide high-quality sales forecasting and reporting.
About You
You are a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys hunting for new business and developing customer relationships. You thrive on achieving targets, enjoy negotiating with decision-makers and have the energy and determination to win new business in competitive markets.

What You'll Bring
- Experience in new business sales, business development or field-based sales roles.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Experience managing and developing a sales pipeline.
- Commercial awareness and a strong focus on revenue and profit generation.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience within eCommerce, parcels, courier, logistics or related sectors would be advantageous.
Role Impact
This role is responsible for delivering significant new business revenue growth while supporting Royal Mail's wider commercial objectives. You'll directly contribute to expanding our customer base, increasing market share and strengthening our position within key growth markets.
