Location & Salary
LONDON, UK • Hybrid Working – Minimum 3 days on-site per week
A benchmarked salary between £43,750 and £50,250, or dependent on skills/experience within Croud’s internal progression framework.

Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced New Business Manager to drive revenue growth across Croud’s global network (including **Croud and sister agency Born Social). Reporting to the New Business Director and in collaboration with senior leadership, this role excels at turning leads into long-term clients through:
- End-to-end pipeline ownership
- Pitch development & conversion
- Strategic opportunity assessment
- Partnership building with EMEA clients

Key responsibilities:
- Transforming prospects into paying customers via a structured, insightful approach
- Developing data-driven sales strategies, proposals, and brand presentations
- Engaging senior stakeholders at brands & agencies
- Contributing to the EMEA growth strategy, including sector focus and high-value client wins

Responsibilities
1. Pipeline & Opportunity Administration
- Govern ownership of the full New Business funnel, from lead capture to closed-won clients
- Qualify and prioritise inbound/outbound opportunities, ensuring alignment with growth goals
- Ensure CRM hygiene (always current, transparent, actionable)
- Track pipeline metrics to support forecasting & progress tracking
2. New Business Growth & Lead Generation
- Initiate outbound and internal referral pipelines
- Partner with marketing, PR & content teams to amplify high-intent prospecting
- Identify emerging creative/social media trends to inform hospitality & engagement
3. Pitch Wisdom & Conversion
- Lead end-to-end campaign briefs & tech stack prep with internal teams
- Craft measurement-heavy proposals with performance benchmarks
- Drive insights-to-artistry in speaker decks, case studies, and strategy decks
- Convert qualified leads into signed agreements
4. Stakeholder Interaction
- Build rapport with C-suite partners to understand pain points and align solutions
- Assist with commercial discussions—P&L, ranking metrics, and contract negotiations
Person Specification
Experience & Mindset
- 3+ years in New Business within a digital marketing (or closely allied) environment
- Proven track record moving B2B opportunities through sales cycles and securing RFPs
- Versatility in working with both strategy-led and innovation-led learning environments
- Commercial acuity: spotting opportunity value and escalating strategically
Essential Technical Skills
- Confidence handling relational CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Insider knowledge of EMEA marketplace, industry awards, and tactic trends
- High attention to commitment timelines, follow-ups, and SEO connection scores
