New Business Manager (UK)
Acrylicize is a multidisciplinary studio made up of artists, designers, creatives, and makers. We create and curate bespoke artworks, installations, and schemes for our clients using art as a vehicle for storytelling and brand expression. Our clients are a mix of the world's leading developers, brands, architects, and designers.

As a New Business Manager, you will play an integral part of our Sales and Marketing Team, identifying and researching new sales leads and potential new markets, ultimately contributing to the overall growth of the studio.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proven business development professional who is ready to make an immediate impact within a fast-paced creative studio.
This role is eligible for a quarterly performance bonus based on agreed KPIs, including meetings generated, proposals submitted, qualified opportunities added to the pipeline, and new business secured.

Purpose of the Role
The New Business Manager is responsible for delivering Acrylicize's UK and European business development strategy and maintaining a high-quality client portfolio.
Working in partnership with the Commercial Director, you will identify and secure new opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships, and lead commercial negotiations through to signed contracts. You will collaborate closely with leadership, marketing, finance, and project teams to ensure opportunities are commercially viable, strategically aligned, and successfully transitioned into delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Deliver the UK & Europe sales strategy in line with the studio's commercial objectives.
- Partner with the Commercial Director and Senior Leadership Team to refine and evolve the sales strategy.
- Achieve agreed revenue targets and business development KPIs.
- Manage the UK & Europe new business budget.
- Identify new markets, sectors, and clients that support sustainable growth.
Business Development & Client Growth
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across the UK and Europe.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and industry partners.
- Represent Acrylicize at networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings.
- Develop strategic partnerships and lead commercial negotiations through to contract award.
Commercial Management & Pipeline Planning
- Own and manage the 3–6 month sales pipeline with the Commercial Director and wider leadership team.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and project fee proposals.
- Work closely with Finance and the Resource & Bid Manager to ensure projects are commercially viable and appropriately resourced.
- Review contracts, RFPs, and tender documents, developing tailored, commercially compelling proposals.
- Monitor project profitability throughout the sales process.
Pitch Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead the commercial development of pitch decks, proposals, and client presentations.
- Partner with the Marketing and Creative teams to produce best-in-class sales collateral.
- Continuously improve CRM systems, sales processes, and commercial materials.
- Collaborate across Design, Projects, Marketing, and Finance to ensure successful project handovers.

Team Leadership
- Support and develop the UK New Business team.
- Set objectives, review KPIs, and encourage continuous improvement.
- Share market insights and best practice across the business.
Required Skills & Experience
Commercial & Business Development
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial management within the creative, design, architecture, or built environment sectors.
- Track record of winning and closing high-value projects.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness.
- Confident preparing fee proposals, budgets, and commercial estimates.
- Experience reviewing contracts and supporting negotiations.
- Strong understanding of RFPs, tenders, and tailored proposal development.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and revenue forecasting.
- Proficient in HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
Leadership & Communication
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident presenting to senior clients and stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills.
- Collaborative, with the ability to influence across teams.
- Experience leading pitches and proposal development.
