Role Description
The New Business Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for Lyme Bay Winery across targeted markets and channels.

Day-to-day activities include:
- Prospecting and qualifying leads
- Conducting sales presentations
- Preparing proposals
- Negotiating commercial terms with prospective customers

The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, collaborating with internal teams on pricing, product positioning, and promotional activities, and monitoring performance to ensure sustainable growth. The New Business Manager will also analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to inform business planning and recommend growth strategies, while maintaining accurate records and reports in CRM and other business systems.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in New Business Development and Account Management to drive growth and manage relationships effectively.
- Solid Business Management and Business Planning skills to support strategic decision-making and long-term commercial success.
- Robust Analytical Skills to interpret market data, evaluate performance metrics, and identify actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and close deals.
- Experience in sales or commercial roles within FMCG, beverages, or related industries; knowledge of premium alcoholic drinks is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and use CRM and digital tools effectively.
- A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
