Sales Executive – (New Business)

Established UK software business, over 30 years in trading, with products used by millions across 120+ countries. Profitable, stable, and growing. This is a genuine 360° new business seat with a proper ramp guarantee while you build pipeline.

The Role

  • Full sales cycle within your assigned UK territory
  • Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Hand-offs accounts to Existing Business Team post-win
  • Outbound and inbound management (prosecution and qualification)
  • Close collaboration with Pre-Sales to support live opportunities
  • Maintenance of Salesforce records
  • Occasional travel for customer visits and trade shows

Responsibilities

  • Building financial pipeline for your territory
  • Outbound prospecting and inbound enquiry qualification
  • Conducting webinars and in-person product demos
  • Developing quotes, objections handling, and deal closing
  • Keeping Salesforce accurate and up-to-date
  • Representing the company at trade shows and customer events

Requirements

  • Demonstrable B2B sales experience, preferably in software or technology
  • Hunter mindset – strong track record against targets
  • Confident communicator – ability to quickly build rapport at all levels
  • Tech-savvy and eager to upskill
  • Independent and proactive – self-managing prioritised pipeline
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with team collaboration

Package & Perks

  • Base salary: £27,000
  • OTE (on-target earnings): £45,000
  • Team-based commission with clear, achievable targets
  • £1,000/month ramp guarantee for the first 3 months
  • Working pattern:
    • Onsite at our Peterborough offices (Tues-Aug)
    • Remote days (Mon & Fri)
    • Monday to Thursday: 9am – 5:30pm
    • Friday: 9am – 5pm
  • Holiday entitlement: up to 27 days
  • Contributory pension scheme
