Job Description
At ArtiCAD (part of the SHD Group), we’re proud to be a fast-growing, multi-award-winning technology business based in the heart of Watford. Through our portfolio of products and digital solutions we help retailers, designers, manufacturers, and suppliers streamline operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth across a range of industries.
We’re big on culture, passionate about delivering results, and always looking for fresh ideas. If you're ambitious, target-driven, and enjoy building relationships with new customers, this could be the perfect next step in your sales career.
The Role: New Business Sales Manager
We’re looking for a motivated and results-focused New Business Sales Manager to join our New Business Team. This role is focused on generating and qualifying new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and helping drive revenue growth across the business.
You’ll be responsible for engaging prospective customers, identifying their needs, and creating high-quality opportunities for our Regional Sales Managers. You’ll also have the opportunity to close sales independently where demonstrations are not required, making a direct impact on the company’s success.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, enjoys speaking with new people, and is motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
