Sales Development Representative (SDR) – TikTok Shop
Fixed-Term Contract (6 Months, Extensible Based on Performance)
About the Role
TikTok Shop is a pioneering integrated marketplace that merges online sellers, buyers, and creators into one seamless shopping experience within TikTok. We’re seeking a high-energy, autonomous Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive expansion by identifying, engaging, and onboarding high-potential sellers. You’ll work to grow sellers’ Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) while collaborating across cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities

Proactive Outbound Sourcing
- Run multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, phone, social media) to identify and qualify high-value seller partners.
- Lead initial pitches tailored to sellers’ needs, clearly articulating TikTok Shop’s unique value proposition.

Seller Fit & Engagement
- Assess seller compatibility with the platform, aligned growth strategies, and paths to GMV growth.
- Drive end-to-end onboarding: Seller registration, account setup, and activation.

Ongoing Growth Collaboration
- Work with internal teams to provide continued support, ensuring sellers thrive on the platform and scale their operations.

- Metrics & Goals
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for seller acquisition and GMV growth within the 3–6 month contract period.
- Deeply understand TikTok Shop’s platform, competitors, and industry positioning.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Proven B2B Sales Background:
- Success in Sales Development (SDR/BDR) or full-cycle B2B sales experience.
- Communication & Language Skills:
- Fluent in English and French (written and verbal) for negotiations and presentations.
- Autonomy & Organisation:
- Strong time management, remote-work capability, and ability to operate independently.
- Commitment:
- Capacity to work a fixed-term 6-month contract (with extension potential based on impact).
Preferred Qualifications
- eCommerce Expertise:
- Direct experience in a high-growth eCommerce, online marketplace, or platform-focused business.
- Startup Culture Fit:
- Comfort navigating hyper-scaling, adaptable environments and startup-style urgency.
