About the Role
TikTok Shop is a groundbreaking marketplace fully integrated into TikTok, uniting online sellers, buyers, and creators to create a seamless shopping experience. As a fixed-term contract role, this high-impact position requires a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify, engage, and onboard high-potential sellers, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) growth.
We seek candidates with sales development acumen, strong communication skills, and the ability to excel in an autonomous, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Proactively conduct multi-channel outbound prospecting (email, phone, social) to source and qualify high-potential seller-partners.
- Lead initial pitches to assess needs and tailor compelling TikTok Shop value propositions.
- Evaluate seller fit, growth potential, and pathways for GMV growth, ensuring alignment with platform goals.
- Support end-to-end seller onboarding, including registration, account setup, and activation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide ongoing support and mentor sellers post-onboarding.
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets for seller acquisition and GMV growth within 3–6 months.
- Research and understand TikTok Shop’s market position, competition, and industry trends.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- 1+ years of B2B sales development (SDR/BDR) or full-cycle sales experience.
- Exceptional communication skills: Fluent in English and German (written and verbal) for client-facing roles.
- Self-driven & organised: Proven ability to thrive autonomously in a remote-first environment with strong time management.
- Contract eligibility: Available for a 6–12 month fixed-term assignment, with potential extension based on performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- e Commerce experience: Experience in high-growth eCommerce, online marketplaces, or platform businesses.
- Startup mentality: Comfortable in hyper-growth, fast-moving, or startup-like environments.
Important Note: This position is a 6–12 month temporary assignment managed by a third-party agency. You will not become a TikTok employee.
