Colchester Ford
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Basic Salary: up to £50,000 OTE, including £25,000 basic plus Uncapped Commission Scheme!
Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00, Saturdays 09:00 to 17:00, Sundays 11:00 to 15:00 with a day off during week and every other Sunday off
Start Date: January 2026
Lookers Ford Colchester is recruiting for an ambitious and passionate Sales Executive to join our hard-working and friendly team on site. Specialising in New Vehicle sales, you will work alongside our sales team to provide Lookers first class customer service.
Joining our enthusiastic Sales Executives, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will also be provided with our in-house sales training and continuous support from our established Sales Executives - this is an incredible opportunity which is not to be missed!
Responsibilities
Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives Negotiating the final price for the sale Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale Liaising with all dealership departments to ensure a smooth and efficient Sales process
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated to crack on with the job and passionate about what they do. You will be expected to hit targets so being ambitious and hard-working is essential.
Previous experience in a similar position with brand training within the motor trade would be preferred but not essential as we are always on the look-out for new/fresh talent to join our teams. You will hold a full UK driving license as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
