Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and driven New Car Sales Manager to lead a successful dealership sales team in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager, Business Manager, or Transaction Manager looking to progress their career within a high-performing retail environment.
You will be responsible for driving new vehicle sales performance, maximising profitability, developing the sales team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire, coach, and motivate a team to consistently exceed targets.

As New Car Sales Manager, You Will
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Sales Executives.
- Drive new vehicle sales performance, finance penetration, and ancillary product sales.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity against agreed targets.
- Manage customer enquiries and ensure all leads are handled effectively.
- Support and coach the team through first and second-facing customer interactions.
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and brand standards.
- Manage vehicle stock levels, availability, and showroom presentation.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and dealership processes.
- Work closely with senior management to deliver departmental objectives and profitability targets.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Business Manager, or Transaction Manager within a franchised dealership.
- A proven track record of delivering strong sales results and profitability.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and customer relationship abilities.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance data and implement improvement strategies.
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
