New Product Assembly Operator
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom
Contract: Permanent, On-site
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 16:00pm
About the Role
Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled New Product Assembly Operator for our Assembly department within our Manufacturing team. This is a permanent, on-site role with no flexibility for remote work.
You will play a critical role in assembling high-quality products while contributing to seamless production and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble powerpacks, including radiators, aftertreatments, and wiring harnesses to meet diverse customer requirements
- Follow tighter timelines and adapt to varied tasks to support overall production goals
- Maintain quality and safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with the team and support staff to enhance teamwork and productivity
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure high standards and cost efficiency
- Adhere to HSE standards and report any hazards promptly to maintain a safe workplace
- Keep work areas clean and perform routine maintenance for operational efficiency

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience to comply with regulations)
- Some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge in engines, preferably gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience
