NPD Manager
Premium Food Producer Salary: £60,000+ (Dependency on experience)
The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a beloved food brand to find a passionate and driven NPD Manager. This key role sits at the heart of a talented food team, owning the entire lifecycle of new product development—from concept briefing through to launch and post-launch review.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead new food development end-to-end, including:
- Briefing chefs and managing critical paths
- Driving delivery against tight deadlines
- Ensuring quality remains at the forefront at every stage
- Shelf-life tastings
- Raw material sourcing
- Costing each project against margin targets
- Producing polished food presentations for internal review and customer sell-ins

Play a crucial role in fostering a quality-first culture across production, technical, and supply chain teams, ensuring:

Lead teams to create an environment where both exceptional food and people can thrive.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in process management
- Strong background in NPD (New Product Development) or EPD (Enhanced Product Development)
- Proven ability to manage others
- Chilled food experience (desirable)
- Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
- Confident presenter and effective communicator across functions
- Passionate about food
- Highly organised with an exceptional attention to detail
