New Product Introduction Project Manager
New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager Location: Leamington Spa Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum Reporting to: Operations Director

We are seeking an organised and driven New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager to lead the successful transition of new products from concept through to full-scale production.
The Role As the NPI Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering new product introduction projects across the business. Working closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Sales, you will ensure products are launched efficiently, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This is a varied role that requires excellent project management skills, technical understanding and the ability to bring multiple departments together to achieve successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through to full production.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work with Design and Engineering teams to ensure products are manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Manage project risks, issues and change requests.
- Ensure all project documentation is completed and maintained.
- Coordinate prototype builds, product validation and production trials.
- Work closely with Purchasing and Supply Chain to ensure material availability.
- Support Production with process development and production readiness.
- Monitor project costs and ensure delivery within agreed budgets.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers where required.
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the product introduction process.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, Health & Safety requirements and customer specifications.

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an NPI, Project Management or Engineering Project role.
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Experience working within ISO quality systems would be advantageous.

Qualifications
- HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) desirable.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience would be advantageous.
