Customer Service Assistant – Food Section
Work Pattern
This is a 25-hour role with a 10pm late-night finish. Full work patterns will be discussed at interview.

Join Marks & Spencer (M&S) as a Customer Assistant in our Food section, at the heart of UK’s fastest-growing retailer. Key Responsibilities
- Sell, serve, and assist customers with confidence and enthusiasm
- Raise product awareness and drive growth in sales through remarkable service
- Utilise digital tools (e.g. Sparks systems, in-store devices) to enhance the customer experience
- Contribute to a positive, high-energy team environment, supporting colleagues to deliver seamless service
- Show flexibility to cover various areas of the store, adapting to different challenges as needed
- Fill stock, restock shelves, and maintain a well-organised, customer-ready team environment
Requirements
Essential

- Digital confidence to utilise in-store technology and digital systems
- Willingness to flex across roles within the food section and beyond

- Experience in retail or hospitality, particularly within a food-focused environment
