Customer Assistant – Food Section (16-Hour Late-Night Role) – M&S
Work Pattern
This is a 16-hour shift, often working up to 10pm, including weekends. A full work pattern will be discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Assistant, you’ll:
- Act as a resilient and committed brand ambassador, driving sales and customer satisfaction.
- Confidently sell and recommend the newest M&S Food products, ensuring customers feel valued.
- Operate in a high-pressure environment, staying sharp and efficient during peak times.
- Enhance the customer experience by utilising digital tools like Sparks and in-store devices.
- Work across multiple tasks — serving, selling, restocking, and helping to boost sales growth.
- Contribute to a positive, high-energy workplace, ensuring teamwork and seamless service.
- Adapt quickly to changing demands, as no two shifts will be the same.
