Customer Assistant – Food Section (16 Hour, Weekend-Only Role)

This is a 16-hour, weekend-only vacancy. A full work pattern will be discussed during the interview.
About the Role
Join Marks & Spencer (M&S) as a Customer Assistant in our Food section—where you’ll be at the heart of the UK’s fastest-growing retailer.

Responsibilities
- Act as a resilient brand ambassador, confidently recommending and selling new M&S Food products to drive growth.
- Be the first point of contact for high-pressure retail environments, ensuring customers feel valued at every interaction.
- Serve, sell, and support customers during peak periods—staying fast, sharp, and focused.
- Utilise digital tools such as Sparks and in-store devices to enhance the customer experience efficiently.
- Be a flexible team player, adapting to varied demands across different store sections.
- Work collaboratively in a positive, high-energy workplace to deliver a seamless shopping experience.
