Customer Assistant – M&S Bakery ( Sharps Discount )
Work Pattern Full-time in-store weekend role (3 evenings per week):
- Thursday: 13:30 – 21:00
- Friday: 13:30 – 21:00
- Saturday: 13:30 – 21:00

Your Responsibilities
Core Bakery Performance
- Deliver hot, freshly baked products with attention to detail under pressure.
- Decide with speed and safety, balancing urgency with classic M&S standards.
Team & Service Leadership
- Work sleeves-up: handle bread production, assist to customers, and maintain our best-in-class fresh produce offer.
- A true team player: adapt to changing demands, pitch in across multiple bakery tasks, and support the flow of a busy zone.
- Directly influence perceived quality; effective service is the foundation of M&S’s reputation.
What it Takes
To thrive in our bakery environment, you’ll need to:
- Be a self-starter, learning quickly in a fast-paced setting.
- Show flexibility – we’ll ask you to go the extra mile (literally).
