Are you a newly qualified ACA or ACCA accountant looking to build your career within a progressive professional services firm? This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, gain exposure to both compliance and advisory work, and continue developing your technical and commercial expertise.
You'll take ownership of client relationships, deliver high-quality accounting services, and work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment that offers genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.
Your Role:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, preparing year-end accounts, management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring an exceptional level of service.
- Take ownership of client accounting assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards, including FRS 102 1A.
- Deliver technical accounting and advisory work, providing practical recommendations to clients.
- Research changes in legislation and accounting standards, identifying opportunities to add value for clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Support and mentor junior members of the team.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and tender opportunities.

About You:

- Newly qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of FRS 102 1A and financial reporting standards.
- Experience managing or supporting a portfolio of clients.
- Proficient in cloud accounting software such as Xero.
- Experience delivering both compliance and advisory work.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding client service.
