Are you a newly qualified dentist looking for the perfect next step after your DFT or DCT? At Rodericks Dental Partners, we understand the transition into your first role as an Associate Dentist, which is why we offer our bespoke FD+1 scheme—designed to provide the support, training, and confidence you need to thrive in both NHS and private dentistry.

What is the FD+1 Scheme?

Our FD+1 Programme Is Tailored To Help You Build On Your Foundation Training With Continued Hands-on Learning And Dedicated Clinical Support, Including

  • Hands-on study days to enhance your clinical skills
  • Dedicated Zoom sessions with our Clinical Lead for expert guidance
  • A peer support network of fellow FD+1 dentists across the business
  • Ongoing mentorship and development to help you grow in confidence

This is a fantastic opportunity to continue learning in a supportive, structured environment while gaining exposure to both NHS and private dentistry, specialist pathways, and high-earning potential.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive dental care across NHS and private sectors, ensuring high clinical standards
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and foster strong, lasting patient relationships
  • Achieve UDA targets that drive performance and unlock significant earning potential
  • Capitalise on private income opportunities to maximise your financial rewards
  • Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes
  • Embrace continuous professional development and training to advance your skills
  • Contribute to practice initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and patient satisfaction

What We Look For

  • Hold a recognised dental qualification (BDS or equivalent) and be registered with the General Dental Council
  • Possess a current performer number
  • Be a newly qualified dentist looking for their next step after DFT or DCT
  • Demonstrate excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment while delivering both NHS and private dental treatments
