Role Description
The Next team member role is a full-time hybrid position based in London, with some flexibility for working from home. The team member will support classroom activities, help prepare learning materials, and assist in the smooth running of the school day.

Responsibilities

- Working closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning
- Supervising small groups
- Contributing to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students
- Maintaining accurate records when required
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and families
- Participating in staff meetings and training
The successful candidate will be expected to model the school’s values, follow safeguarding procedures, and adapt to changing priorities in a busy school environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to support teaching and learning, including assisting with lesson delivery, classroom organization, and pupil supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain a calm, structured environment
- Comfort with basic digital tools and school systems to support administration, communication, and learning activities
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting the welfare and wellbeing of all children
- Experience in an educational or child-facing setting is highly beneficial; relevant training or qualifications in education or childcare are an advantage
- Willingness to learn, engage in professional development, and contribute positively to a collaborative school culture
