About The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future NextJS Developer roles within our expanding technology function. Roles of this type could involve building and maintaining modern, responsive web applications using React and NextJS, contributing to solutions that power digital transformation across diverse industries.

  • Experience: 5–10 years in software development
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

What You Would Do

  • Developing and maintaining responsive, user-centric web applications using NextJS and React
  • Writing clean, maintainable JavaScript code and collaborating with backend teams on API integration
  • Contributing to microservices architecture and working with containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Participating in CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment automation
  • Troubleshooting performance issues and optimising frontend application efficiency
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver features and improvements
  • Supporting code reviews and sharing knowledge with team members

What You Could Bring

Must-have

  • 5–10 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and hands-on experience with React and NextJS
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices
  • Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with .NET or ASP.NET backends
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery
  • Exposure to distributed systems design
  • Proficiency with Excel or data visualisation tools
  • Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, JavaScript Certification (JSE), freeCodeCamp Front End Libraries (React) or similar certifications
  • Experience with Terraform, GCP or other infrastructure-as-code tools
